Upon hearing it, why didn’t the believing men and believing women think good of one another and say: "This is a manifest forgery?”
It is told in verse 33: 35: “Indeed, for the men and women submitted everything to the Lord, believing men and women, devoted men and women, men and women testifying Truth, patient men and women, men, and women fearing the Lord, charity giving men and women, fasting men and women, chastity guarding men and women, men and women much remembering the Lord, Allah has kept prepared forgiveness and a great reward”. The believing men and woman who testify Adhikr will command for Justice and forbid evil as explained in verses 9: 71-72. When they happen to hear any gossip, they will patiently think of themselves, submit wholly to the Lord, and seek forgiveness in Him. As explained in verse 17: 17, the believer will glorify the Lord as: “Glory is the one Who is enough to acquaint and observe the offenses of His servants!” See explanation 3: 195; 10: 108-109 and 21: 112.
